
Even in the great city of Burbank, California, there are children and teens who are left to themselves to find activities and to make friends. Oftentimes, parents of these youths have to work multiple jobs or come from single parent homes. Without supervision or proper care, it can be easy for youths to get into trouble, and the Boys & Girls Club of Burbank exists to help them stay out of trouble and reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring Burbank citizens.
Boys & Girls Club of Burbank assists the youth of Burbank, CA by offering programs and services that promote and enhance their development, helping to teach responsibility. Volunteers and staff of the Boys and Girls Club show children and teens that people care about them, and the Club is there to support them.
Some of the programs offered by Boys & Girls Club of Burbank include Character and Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation. The Boys & Girls Club of Burbank's Outreach program, is an afterschool program where children are picked up at local schools and brought to the Club for afternoon activities.
The Teen Program is the place for Burbank teens to hang out every Friday night. All teens who are 13 to 17 are welcome at the Club every Friday night from 7pm to 10pm. The Boys and Girls club will provide dinner, drinks, music, and games for teens to enjoy in a safe environment. There is no cost for teens to participate!
