The Burbank Jaycees is a local chapter of the United States Junior Chamber, more commonly known as the Jaycees. The national organization is a non-profit organization that gives young adults between the ages of 18 to 40 the skills needed to be successful in business, contribute to their local community, and develop personal and leadership skills through service to others.
The Burbank Jaycees is a chapter that enjoys participating in a variety of social events and community service activities, while growing as individuals and businesspeople. Some Burbank Jaycee social activities include ski trips, bowling, movie nights, ski trips, and wine tastings. In addition to their weekly events and meetings, the group also holds monthly social mixers at a variety of restaurants in Burbank. These mixers give members and non-members an opportunity to network and socialize.
Famous Jaycees include President Bill Clinton, President Gerald Ford, President Lyndon B. Johnson, Howard Hughes, Prince Albert of Monaco, and Larry Bird.
