The Burbank Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing the best
possible care for animals in Burbank who need their assistance. The
Shelter is operated by several Animal Control Officers and Kennel
Attendants who are a part of the Burbank Police Department.
Not only does the shelter provide a home for homeless dogs, cats,
and other animals, but the shelter workers also help to get the animals
acclimated with their environment by socializing them, grooming them,
and providing sufficient nutrition to keep them in good health.
In addition to looking after the animals who call their facilities
home, Burbank Animal Shelter workers also sponsor educational workshops
to help inform the Burbank community about animal-related issues and
safety. The shelter educates the community about the benefits of
spaying and neutering, proper pet nutrition, and pet adoption. Burbank
Animal Shelter sponsors several adoption events throughout the year in
an effort to find animals good homes.
