Celebrating the NBA Playoffs is a slam dunk when you host the “NBA Party on a Platter.” Since you’d rather be watching the game than flipping burgers, this party gives you a big assist with all the food prepared ahead of time and ready to enjoy. Chances are, your friends will want to get in on the game. Since there are at least four playoffs, invite everyone to participate in a “Dine Around.” Pair up with three other couples and take turns hosting an NBA playoff party.

Want to watch calories while you watch the game? No problem. Cherry pick from this sample menu:

Calorie-Free Throws

Cake pops. Bake a cake, cut it into small chunks and cover each with frosting, molding into balls. Insert a stick, freeze, and then dip into white chocolate that’s colored with orange food coloring. Pipe with black cake piping to resemble small basketballs.

Dribble & Dunks

Skewered cantaloupe and grapes served with vanilla yogurt and honey dip.

Pick & Rolls

Bite-sized sausages wrapped and baked in pastry dough.

Slam Dunks

Bite-sized grilled chicken cubes served with Kraft Barbecue and Cheese Sauce and Salsa Verde with mint.

Number One Draft Pick

Beer!
