Be-Boppin’ in the Park

If you like vintage cars and motorcycles, you need to be at this event. In addition to the show cars, bikes and trucks, this Festival features live music, food, and prizes.  Over 200 exhibitors along Magnolia Boulevard between Hollywood Way and California. 

Be Boppin' in the Park annually draws thousands of people from Southern California and the western US. See rare autos and bikes, and have a great day in the sun.

Burbank International Film Festival

The annual Burbank International Film Festival held in Burbank, California, celebrates the city's rich cinematic and motion picture history. The city of Burbank is known as the "Media Capital of the World" because of the number of media companies located within the city's borders

The Film Festival captures its home city's rich history and movie making magic by promoting fresh pieces of cinematic art by up and coming filmmakers from around the world.

Burbank Kiwanis for Fun Car Show

If you are a vintage car afficianado, you don't want to miss the annual Burbank Kiwanis For Fun Car Show and Arts and Crafts Fair. This annual event takes place every Spring on a Sunday at Johnny Carson Park in Burbank, California. The Kiwanis Club serves its famous pancake breakfast, followed by burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and great french fries for lunch.

Exhibitors from around Southern California bring their prized cars, trucks, and motorcycles out for this event, and prizes are awarded in a variety of categories. All proceeds are donated to a Burbank area non-profit organization.

Burbank on Parade
Burbank on Parade honors a tradition that started in 1945.
Burbank on Parade

Burbank on Parade is a current annual event that has its roots dating back to the end of World War II in 1945. The event held in Downtown Burbank brings together residents of Burbank and business owners to celebrate Burbank City. The event runs through downtown Burbank and ends in George Izay Park, where an awards presentation is held.

Each year, the parade has a different theme. Local high school bands perform in the parade, and Burbank celebrities and VIPs can be seen in the parade and along the route.

Burbank Senior Games
Burbank Senior Games are fun for 55+ seniors.
Burbank Senior Games

All "seniors" who are 55 years old or older are invited to participate in the annual Burbank Senior Games. The goal of the Games is to showcase the skills of the participants in a fun, social environment. The competition may be fierce, but fun is had by all who compete! Burbank Senior Games take place each May in conjunction with Older American's Month.

Sports and events included in the Burbank Senior Games include tennis, skip-bo, party bridge, golf, bowling, cribbage, fun walk, horseshoes, pool, softball, and other events.

Thursdays in July and August at 7 PM on the AMC Walkway.  Listen to great live music with some of the areas's best known and hottest Latin, swing and salsa bands. Come downtown early for free swing and salsa lessons from professional dancers. This annual event is presented by the Downtown Burbank Partnership.

Downtown Burbank Fine Arts Festival

Held twice annually along San Fernando Road, from Magnolia to Olive Avenue, this event is produced by West Coast Artists.  More than 100 artists and craftsmen showing their works and crafts.  This is a two-day event presented both in June and November.

Take this opportunity to spot up and coming artists and craftsmen and purchase their works at fantastic prices. See paintings, glassware, lithographs, wood work, and other types of art.

Relay for Life of Burbank

Help raise funds for cancer research and have a great time while doing it at the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Burbank, California. The event brings together more than 3.5 million people across the United States to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones who passed away as a result of the disease, and to fight back against cancer to help raise money for research. In all, there are close to 5,000 Relays that take place across the nation each year.
