Burbank Temporary Aid Center can use supplies found by travelers this summer
Burbank, CA - Burbank Temporary Aid Center (BTAC) can use your help when you travel this summer. While most travelers simply discard or leave their unused shampoo, bars of soap, and lotions, BTAC can recycle unopened bottles and bars by providing them to homeless. BTAC has showers on site for people in need, and they are always in need of smaller-sized hygiene products for their clients.
Since its founding in 1974, Burbank Temporary Aid Center has been helping low income and homeless individuals and families who live in the Burbank community. BTAC is a 501 c(3) designated non-profit organization that is managed by dedicated volunteers.
BTAC provides its clients with a variety of programs and services, some of which include: groceries, daily lunches for the homeless, senior citizen food distribution, utility bill assistance, transportation assistance, medical assistance, temporary shelter housing, shower facilities for the homeless, laundry for the homeless, and a Christmas gift program for needy children.
You can learn more about BTAC by visiting their website, at www.TheBTAC.org, or by calling their office at (818) 848-2822.
