March 28th, 2011 at 8:00PM, Flappers Comedy Club Burbank and Legendary Bingo will host a fundraiser to benefit the Burbank Tournament of Roses Association. Internationally known Legendary Bingo, hosted by Bingo-Boy Jeffery Bowman, is the most popular and longest running weekly local charity event, and is now at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank. Established in 1998, Legendary Bingo has been named “Best Of” in 2010 by Los Angeles Magazine, L.A. Weekly and The Huffington Post.
Flappers Comedy Club Burbank features a clever 1920s/Prohibition-era theme “Still Celebrating the Repeal of Prohibition”, featuring drinks such as "The 21st Amendment Long Island Iced Tea" and "18th Amendment Shirley Temple". The show and club are located at 102 E Magnolia Blvd, at the corner of Magnolia Blvd. and First Street in Downtown Burbank.
The show will feature prize packages, “racy” call backs served up by our saucy by hostess, Bridgette of Madison County,and a celebrity “ball-caller”.
