Burbank Airport Airfares Second Lowest in Q2 2008

Airfare for domestic flights originating at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California had the second lowest average in the nation for the second quarter in 2008, with an average cost of $252.01. The US domestic average was $351.86. The only airport whose average airfare was lower than Burbank was Love Airport in Dallas, Texas. The highest average fares in the nation were on trips that originated from Cincinnati Airport.

For comparison purposes, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) had an average airfare of $397.53 in the second quarter of 2008.

Currently, Alaska Air, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Jet Blue, Southwest, United, and US Airways fly from Burbank Airport to other airports throughout the US.
