Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra is Burbank's musical orchestra group that has been giving great symphony performances since 1991. The mission of the BPO to ensure the continuation of quality music for individuals and families in the Burbank area. The BPO performs classical favorite symphonies as well as musical favorites that will be enjoyed by the entire family.

The conductor of the Burbank Philharmonic is Maestro Steven Kerstein, who has been at the helm of the BPO since its inception. Maestro Kerstein enjoys a national reputation, and in an article in the Wall Street Journal, Kerstein was described as "a competitive, energetic, in-your-face conductor who has the artistic and business acumen to create extraordinary musical events." A good deal of BPO's successful performances and acclaim can be attributed to Maestro Kerstein's enthusiasm and leadership.

Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra performs most of its concerts at Hall of Liberty (6300 Forest Lawn Drive - just outside of Burbank). During the summer, the BPO has its annual Pops concert at Starlight Bowl where they perform audience favorites.
