Robert R. Ovrom Park and Community Center

One of the newest parks in Burbank, California is the Robert R. Ovrom Park and Community Center. Ovrom Park is named after Robert "Bud" Ovrom, the former Burbank City Manager of nearly 20 years, who is credited with the expansion of the entertainment and media industry in the city of Burbank, CA. Many people say that Burbank grew it's nickname as the "Media Capitol of the World" because of Bud's efforts.

The public park features a 7,025 square foot building with programmed recreational activities, two children's play areas, two picnic or barbeque areas, an outdoor basketball court, and open area for passive use and play. The park and community center is managed and operated by the city of Burbank's Park & Recreation Department.
