Tickets to attend a taping of the Tonight Show are completely free, although you may need to order them about six weeks in advance. The show is filmed on Stage 1 of the Universal Studios Lot, just down the road in Universal City, and the taping typically begins at 5pm with the show airing at 11:35pm.

Additionally, some tickets may be available on the day of the show at the NBC Box Office, located at NBC Studios in Burbank. The Box Office opens at 8am on the day of the show, are distributed on a first come first served basis, and only two tickets will be given per person. Audience members must be at least 16 years old to attend the taping.

The Tonight Show generally books tickets between four and six weeks in advance, and the ticketing is based on a lottery system. If you are chosen, you will receive and email and phone call confirming your tickets.
